Applicant should have passed master’s degree from the recognized university in Hindi with English as an elective or compulsory subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

OR

Applicant should have passed master’s degree from the recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as an elective or compulsory subject or according the medium of an examination at the degree level.

OR

Applicant should have done recognized diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government Office, together with Government of India Undertaking.

2. Education Qualification for SSC JHT Exam for the Post Code “F”:

Applicant should have done master’s degree from the recognized university in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as an elective or compulsory subject at degree level,

Applicant should have done bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the term compulsory and elective)

3. Education Qualification for SSC JHT Exam for the Post Code “G”:

Applicant should have done bachelor’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level either as compulsory or optional from the recognized university or Institute plus any subject Master’s degree in from the recognized university or Institute plus Bachelor of Education from the recognized University/Institute.

SSC JHT Recruitment 2018 Exam Pattern:

The Staff Selection Commission Junior Hindi Translator 2018 Examination will include of two papers - Paper I and Paper II which operated for the total number of 400 marks. The SSC JHT Paper I examination will consist of objective type questions from two parts - General English and General Hindi & it will be held in computer-based mode. The SSC JHT Paper II will be a conventional type test which operated for 200 marks include questions on translation and essay.
