OICL AO 2018 - Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

(a) Applicants should have Graduate from a recognized University OR Pass in HSC/Equivalent (XII pass) examination with 60% marks (50% for Ex-servicemen, SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities); and the Applicants should have passed in English according to one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level; and Knowledge of Regional Language i.e. Language of the State of Recruitment is essential.

OICL  2018 – Exam Pattern:

OICL AO exam is conducted in three phases:

1. Preliminary Exam
2. Main Exam

OICL Preliminary Exam Pattern:

The Preliminary Examination consists of Objective Test for 100 marks which will be operated online. The test would be of one-hour duration having 3 sections as follows:

Main Examination:

OICL Main Examination includes of Objective Test for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 30 marks. “Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be held online”. Applicants will have to answer Descriptive Test through typing on the computer. instantly after the conduct of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be conducted.

(i) Objective Test: This test will be of TWO hours duration consisting of 4 sections (Generalists) and 5 sections (Specialists) for total 200 marks.

(ii) Descriptive Test: This Test is of Thirty minutes duration with 30 marks.  Applicants are tested for English Language (Letter Writing-10marks & Essay-20 marks).

The descriptive test will be in English and will be operated through online mode. All Applicants will need to obtain a minimum score for each section of the objective test separately for shortlisting for the Descriptive test evaluation/Interview. Descriptive answer script would be evaluated only in respect of those applicants who qualify the objective test and also score high.

Interview

Applicants who qualify the main examination will be called the interview round to be operated by the company. The centre, time & date of Interview, address of the venue will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Applicants need to download their interview call letters from the company’s website.

OICL Admit Card 2018:

OICL will issue Admit Card in sequence in which the different phases of the examination will be conducted. Hall Ticket for Paper-I will be published first followed by Admit Card for Paper-II for applicants qualifying Paper-I of OICL 2018.
